Hi Ashley,
Thanks for stopping by to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I've been able to travel with my family to Walt Disney World Resort as a conventionEAR, a few times. My wife would prefer to wait for me to have time off, so we could go to the parks together. And let me tell you, there are lots of things to do at the resort.
When you check in, you should receive a copy of the resort’s Recreation Calendar. You can always ask for a copy at the front desk. This will list all activities planned for every day of the month, such as Bingo, arts & crafts, trivia, even pool parties. Did you know that all pools have their temperature controlled and set to 82 degrees? But remember that by staying at a resort hotel, you have access to
Complementary Resort Transportation. You could go visit other resorts, play a round at
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or
Fantasia Gardens & Miniature Golf, or visit
Disney Springs. My kids always love ride around the
Walt Disney World Monorail. Make sure you also visit the
Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page for lots of other ideas.
I’m sure your husband will enjoy plenty of quality daddy and daughter time, and will remember it forever. Have more questions? Come back! We're here to help.
Ricardo.
