Hi there, Kayla! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you're here!
It looks like your plans to arrive are happening very soon. That's so exciting! I know it's hard to predict if you will want to or be able to visit both parks in one day. Unfortunately, once you have scanned in your ticket and entered the park, your ticket is no longer valid to be upgraded. If you want to upgrade to a park hopper ticket you will need to do this before you enter the park. Ticket upgrades can be done at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth in the Esplanade between the two parks. Please remember that tickets need
theme park ticket reservations to enter the park and reservations are attached to the ticket. If you upgrade your ticket, this will cancel your theme park ticket reservation and you will have to make a new one for your upgraded ticket. This can be tricky as sometimes there are no longer same-day reservations available. If you have any other questions about upgrading your tickets, I suggest reaching out to
Ticket Services or chatting in the Disneyland app.
Visiting both parks in one day is possible if you will be there at the park opening and can stay until the park close. It also depends on what you are hoping to achieve in the parks. If you are big on attractions, I definitely recommend
Disney Genie+ this will help you avoid the stand-by line and save time.
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival also kicks off on Friday, March 3, 2023, and is one of my favorite times of the year.
Kayla, I'm sure whatever you decide to do, your visit will be magical. Enjoy the parks and don't forget to enjoy a churro!
Carrie
