It's great to have you back here
since your last question for us a decade ago, and your little Mouseketeer has likely grown up to enjoy so many more
Disney experiences since then! One of those very exclusive experiences that only a small population of Walt Disney World Resort guests are even aware of is the GM Lounge perched atop
Test Track, and as we were researching venues for our
Disney Wedding this was a spot I was happy to have seen for myself; there's really nothing like hearing the SIM cars zooming past just below and that view of
Spaceship Earth is simply unbeatable.
- During my most recent visit to EPCOT this week, there were still folks accessing the door just outside of the Test Track SIMporium leading to the entrance hallway and elevator. At the time of writing however, Test Track has since officially closed temporarily (and as we passed by on that last evening there were definitely a few tears among the Cast Members as guests dashed past for their last chance).
- The Guest Experience Team and Cast Members in the area near Test Track were unable to say whether the lounge will continue to remain open by the time of your visit in July. While this isn't the most helpful answer you might've been hoping for, they did suggest stopping by during your visit to see whether you're still able to gain access if the entrance hasn't been completely blocked off.
