Hello! My husband is a GM employee and we arrive next Monday Nov 4. Is there an alternate lounge that GM can access while test track is closed? Thank you!

    Hi there, Yvette!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear that your family will be making its way to The Most Magical Place on Earth tomorrow! You've chosen a fabulously festive time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.

Yvette, it's always a privilege to help a fellow Michigander plan their vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth! As the daughter of an automobile industry retiree, questions about the GM lounge at EPCOT hit especially close to home. As you know, Test Track is currently undergoing a transformative refurbishment that's scheduled for completion sometime next year. I checked in with a friendly Cast Member who informed me that the lounge has not been open during the refurbishment of Test Track so far. However, this status is subject to change, so I do recommend checking with the Cast Members near the attraction or at Guest Relations once you arrive at EPCOT to confirm whether the lounge is accessible on a given day. In the meantime, if you complete registration online before your visit, you may be able to access the Florida Blue Lounge in the Morocco pavilion. A quick Google search should turn up information on how to register!

While at the theme park, be sure to enjoy some of the offerings currently available during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, Yvette! This limited-time festival is set to end after November 23, 2024, so Guests only have a few more weeks to enjoy the delectable delights and exciting entertainment available throughout the World Showcase. I always like to scope out the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide for the festivals before I arrive on-site so I can map out my meals for the day!

Yvette, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you an enchanting escape to The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any additional questions before or during your trip, you can always stop back by planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
