My husband, our 3 girls(5, 3, 18months) my parents and I will be visiting Disney this upcoming January. Which would you recommend: POR(for the Royal Guest Rooms), Poly, Contemporary or WL. We don't want a long walk back to our room after a day at the park.

    Hi, Andrea!

You must be so excited to start planning your trip to Walt Disney World! What a treat for your parents to see the magic through their granddaughters' eyes!

With 3 children 5 and under, I would highly recommend that you choose either Disney's Contemporary Resort or, my personal favorite, Disney's Polynesian Resort. The convenience of being able to hop right on the monorail to and from Magic Kingdom Park will be invaluable to your family when you need to get back to your Resort hotel room quickly. You'll also be able to take the monorail over to Epcot by switching monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center which is right on the monorail line as well.

I have to tell you, I absolutely LOVE Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Wilderness Lodge too. The theming at both of those Reaorts is beautiful. I'm quite certain that you would be thrilled at whichever Resort you chose, but I think the convenience of staying right on the monorail line will be the most practical for your family!

I hope that helps with your decision, Andrea! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
