Hi My husband and I and 2 girls ages 8 and 6 traveling to WDW from July 6-13 /2011... I am searching for answers for making my first disney trip an experience and great cooling ideas for the kids due to weather. Please help me.

    Hi Nicole!
To cool off, there are several things you can do...the obvious one is to wear cool clothing and comfortable shoes. Also, try bringing a few wash cloths from the room that you have wet under cold water (either put them in the fridge in your room overnight or wet them first thinig in the morning). These make for a nice wipe down during the day and can be re-wet in the restrooms to refresh them. Also, spray bottle fans are available inside each of the resort and them parks. These do a great job of keeping everyone cool all day. And finally, I always duck into "cool" places such as Hall of Presidents or other "indoor" attractions as much as possible for breaks from the heat.
I hope this helps regarding ways to cool off and I wish you a Magical trip next month!! :)
