Hello when my husband gets back from deployment in July we are taking our 2 children boy7 and girl 4 for their first trip to Disney world. Was wanting some advise as to where to say because we want to remember this trip forever. My kids so miss their fathr

    Hello Perez!

Walt Disney World is definitely the place to reconnect your family and make lifelong memories.  We have taken pre-deployment trips as a way to really enjoy each other and take time to focus on fun before the stress of the deployment begins.

I honestly don't think you could go wrong with any of the resorts on property.  Each is so unique in theme and layout that it's hard to just pick one to suggest!

Disney's Pop Century- Larger than life decor, a great pool for the family, and great value.  The advantage to Pop Century is that it currently does not share buses with any other resort.

Disney's Port Orleans Riverside-  This resort is quiet and beautiful with a great pool area and plenty of on-site recreational activities.  There's also boat transportation to Downtown Disney!

Disney's Wilderness Lodge- This resort is only a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom Park!  There are even rooms with bunkbeds-perfect for your kids! There are also lots of great recreational activities available and a Campfire Sing-a-Long with Chip n' Dale! Be sure to check out the Cub's Den Kids Club.  The kids can play in a supervised environment while you and your husband get some alone time.

When you're ready to book, give the Central Reservations Office at a call at 407-939-7830  to see if your stay qualifies for Disney's Armed Forces Salute Room Offer.

I hope I've given you some inspiration on where to stay for your most special vacation.  I know that your family will create memories to last a lifetime regardless of where you choose to stay!
