Hello, me and my husband and our friends are bringing our Son back to WDW in March, he obviously loves all disney films and noticed if you stay on site you can have a bonfire and movie night but we are staying off site can we pay to do this? thanks

Hi Amy! I am so happy to hear you are able to return for another Walt Disney World vacation.

When staying off site at a non Disney resort you do miss a few of the perks that Disney guests get. There are many different Resort Options at Disney appealing to all kinds of budgets. But Disney does know that not everyone can do this for their vacation time.

Since a movie under the stars with a campfire sounds appealing to your son then I would like to suggest you consider spending one evening at Fort Wilderness. Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong is an evening of fun. The show itself lasts 30 minutes but come early as they will light two campfires where you can roast marshmallows and make the famous s'mores treat. And don't worry about the supplies because you can purchase a kit right there!  Following this show they will show a movie under the stars.

This event is complimentary to all guests making it even more enticing! You would need to drive to Fort Wilderness and park your car at the front entrance. From there it is a short walk to the bus depot where you would hop on an internal bus that drops you off just steps away from the campfire area. When you are ready to leave you would simply repeat your steps.

So consider this an evening of fun. You will enjoy campfires, a fun show with live entertainment, singing and dancing, a meet and greet with Chip and Dale, and finally a great Disney movie under the stars. Be sure and call the resort to check on the time as it does change in the seasons.
