My husband , friend and I would love to stay on property but wouldn’t want to share 1 bedroom. What properties offer apartments or villas with 2 bedrooms that are affordable?

Hiya, Hazel, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for popping by with your question!

I love that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World with two of your favorite people. At this point in my Disney journey, I've had the pleasure of visiting the parks in lots of different ways with lots of incredible people. I've gone with family, I've gone with friends, I've gone with big, boisterous groups. I've even gone with some of my own favorite humans - my planDisney panelist pals! And while exploring Disney World solo certainly has its merits, I think there's extra magic in sharing it all with loved ones.

Now, traveling with friends and family is always super special. But honestly, I'm one of those people who requires a bit of space. So I completely understand the desire to spread out! Fortunately, Disney World offers a few types of suites that are also highly affordable.

Hazel, you may have already discovered the 1-bedroom suites at Disney's Deluxe Villa resorts. But if these are a bit out of budget, let's talk about the suites you'll find at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort.

At Art of Animation, the magically themed Family Suites could be a great option. These offer one full bedroom (with a door to close for privacy), as well as a sleeper sofa in the living area and a Murphy bed in the dining area (genius, right?!). There are also two full bathrooms, so everyone can enjoy a little personal space. I also love Art of Animation for its location on the Disney Skyliner. This gives you quick and easy access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios (just be aware that the Skyliner will undergo refurbishment in January).

Another option is the Family Suite over at All-Star Movies. These suites offer a similar floor plan (also with two full bathrooms) and, typically, a slightly lower price point. Since Art of Animation and All-Star Music are both Value Resorts, the biggest difference between the two resorts is the transportation options. At Art of Animation, you'll get the Skyliner, whereas All-Star Music has bus transportation only.

Of course, you can also book two separate standard rooms at any resort you like! My family has done this plenty of times, and we've always had good luck when requesting connecting, adjoining, or nearby rooms. If this is an option for you, you might also like Disney's Pop Century Resort (another value resort), or one of Disney's Moderate Resorts, like Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.

I hope this helps, Hazel! It looks like you're just getting started on your Disney World planning, so if you have any other questions as you map out the details, feel free to write me directly right here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,

    Allison
