My husband and I have four children ages 5-18, we want to plan a trip to Disney World next year and since we live in OK and have to fly six people, we need the most bang for our buck. Heard cheapest is Aug5-sep27, but is it too hot to enjoy?

Hello, Arlene!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Oh, I definitely know what you mean when it comes to airline ticket prices.  With a family of five, I am always finding ways to save a buck.  When we decide to fly, we find ways to save by selecting Value Resorts.  If we drive, we can then splurge a bit more for our resorts.  It is always a give and take.  Alright, let's get back to your question.

It will be hot and humid.  Of course, as you head more into the September month, the temperatures will tend to cool off just a bit.  The evenings are always enjoyable no matter what and you may even need a light sweater during the evening hours.  My family and I always visit Walt Disney World in late July when the temperatures are soaring. Many of the attractions and shows located inside the Disney Parks will provide some sort of shelter from the heat. You can always find a place to cool down should the need arise. I highly recommend lots of water, sunscreen and hats.  Now everyone deals with heat differently and you know your family best.  My family has never seen the heat as an issue and have never stayed away because of it.  We always have a most MAGICAL time even during the middle of summer.  Again, you know your family best.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
