My husband and I are Florida residents and would like to take my niece from Canada to Disney with us in May. She is 7 years old. Could we purchase a Florida Resident ticket for her? She will of course be entering the park with us each day. Thank you!

    ChEARs Melissa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Isn’t it fantastic living so close to the Mouse? I love being able to pop over and say hello whenever I need a bit of pixie dust. Speaking of pixie dust, you two are about to win Aunt and Uncle of the yEAR when you purchase a ticket for your niece! As Florida Residents, you can buy tickets for yourself, members of your immediate household, and any minor (under the age of 18) friends and family!

When you purchase the ticket, you can verify residency online, or in person at the Parks. Once you’ve verified residency, she is good to go! I don’t know if your niece is more Jedi or Princess (or both like my girl!), but there are so many fun things happening at the ‘World right now!

When you visit the Planet of Batuu, you might want to make a reservation to build a special friend for your niece! I think a droid is a perfect souvenir to take home to Canada. Make sure to purchase your tickets at least 30 days before your arrival; that way, you can take advantage of FastPass+ for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Slinky Dog Dash, and Toy Story Mania. You can also use FastPass+ for her to enjoy an enchanted story-time with Belle, greet Cinderella and Elena, or hurtle down a mine train with Snow White’s dwarfs!

Melissa, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. We are all EARs!
