Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Kelly! Thank you for visiting us with your question today about your summer holiday to
Disneyland Paris next year. It sounds like you are a regular Disneyland Paris Guest just like me, and I love that you choose the resort to celebrate life's milestones. Having travelled as a couple for many years, we now travel with our two children, which we enjoy just as much, just in completely different ways!
Thinking of something extra special you could do to mark the occasion of your 15th wedding anniversary? I have a couple of ideas. Firstly, you could consider staying at
Disneyland Hotel. This five-star property has just been completely renovated, celebrating all of the Disney royal stories we love. Not only is it a luxurious place to stay, but it is the only Disney Hotel to feature complimentary day care. Children aged 4 to 11 can enjoy two hours per day (subject to availability) filled with magical activities at the Royal Kids Club. This could give you and your husband time to enjoy something just the two of you, perhaps a special meal, or even a ride on Big Thunder Mountain like you would have done back on your 18th birthday.
Talking of special meals, you could consider a family dinner at
Walt’s – an American Restaurant. Here you can enjoy a menu inspired by some of Walt Disney's favourite foods. I was there just a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so much. If you are tactical with your reservation timing, you could even enjoy your meal while watching
Disney Stars on Parade from the windows overlooking Main Street, U.S.A.
However you choose to celebrate during your trip, one thing is for certain, summer 2026 is going to be such an exciting time to visit Disneyland Paris! Spring 2026 will see the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into
Disney Adventure World, with the opening of the next phase of the multi-year expansion - you will be able to begin exploring Adventure Way, World of Frozen, and enjoy a brand new nighttime spectacular over Adventure Bay! Whilst we don't have an exact opening date, we do know it is scheduled to open during the Spring!
I hope this gives you a couple of ideas to make your special occasion extra magical at Disneyland Paris. If you have any other vacation planning questions, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help. I could talk about Disneyland Paris all day!
See you on Main Street, Paris!
Matt
