My husband & I are finally planning a trip w/ our little miracle baby to Disneyland-she will be 4-6 months we think when we will go. We were hoping to get advice on the easiest ways to travel (with a car seat & stroller) & any other tips! TY!

Happiest Greetings on Earth, Victoria! Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with such a special question and I'm honored to share some insights with you as you prepare for your little one's First Visit to Disneyland Resort. I already have happy tears for you thinking about how special this milestone must be for your family!

I'm happy to report that Disneyland Resort makes traveling with an infant very convenient, but I do have some key tips that might be helpful to keep in mind as you consider all the logistics. First, you might wish to consider the Theme Park Rules & Regulations, particularly the permitted size dimensions for strollers no greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length. I usually take a measuring tape to my own stroller at home to verify before we travel, but you can also ask a Cast Member at the security screening point if you have any doubts.

My top recommendation for Guests traveling with infants is to visit the Baby Care Centers. You'll find one located on Main Street, U.S.A, at Disneyland Park and behind the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in Disney California Adventure Park. The Baby Care Centers are fully equipped facilities with areas for diaper changing, nursing and feeding, or simply resting with your little one in a clean and quiet environment. The friendly Cast Members will show you the amenities, including a small kitchen with a sink, microwave, and bottle warmers for complimentary use as well as other supplies available for purchase. I remember that we once ran out of wipes when my daughters were little and it was so nice to know that I could easily pick some up in the Baby Care Center without having to leave the theme park property. I can't recommend them enough to families with infants and toddlers, and I hope you find them useful while you're visiting with your little one!

As you bring your little princess on this magical adventure, I also want to share the list of rides and attractions that have no height requirement, meaning that everyone in your travel party will be able to enjoy them together. You can also use the filter "Any Height" in the official Disneyland mobile app to find this list of attractions while on the go. My girls were always captivated by the music and sights of The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure and "it's a small world." Mickey's Toontown has recently been reimagined with some fun, interactive, and hands-on areas for play and exploration that the whole family can enjoy. One of my best recommendations is to enjoy these areas early in the morning when the crowds are lightest and your baby might have some of the best waking hours before mid-day naps. Of course, nothing is better than seeing the sparkle in your little one's eyes when they see YOU enjoying the magic, so no matter how you spend your time, I have full faith that your entire family will enjoy the true gift of making memories together!

Victoria, it sounds like your little one is a long-awaited wish come true. It makes me think of Princess Aurora's memorable quote, "They say if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true." I find that the dreams we hold closest to our hearts are the guiding stars that teach us to embrace hope, no matter how distant it seems. I hope the magic feels a little closer to you as you celebrate with your precious family. If we can lend any other recommendations for this very special trip together, please feel welcome to visit planDisney again soon.

    Magically yours,
