My husband is a federal firefighter, and we are planning a trip from Dec. 19-24th of this year. Are there discounts for hotels and tickets? Thank you!

Hello from one fellow Texan to another!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First, let me start by expressing how thankful I am for folks like your husband.  I have so much respect for those who keep us safe daily.

I am so excited that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation during the holiday season.  The sights and sounds during this time of the year are beautiful!  It really is my favorite time to visit.  At this time, there are no discounts for fire fighters.  However, Disney offers some special offers and deals throughout the year.  You may find a deal that may work for your family.  Continue checking daily as Disney continues to offer great deals.  I do hope you find one that works for you.

As you continue with your planning, I highly recommend putting Disney Springs on your agenda for some great shopping during the holiday season.  With all that shopping, you will develop quite an appetite.  No worries!  The dining experiences are MAGICAL, too!  Trust me, you will find it all at Disney Springs!

I loved that you came to join us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Please visit with us again real soon should any new questions arise.  We would love to help you put together a most MAGICAL vacation.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
