What a special anniversary trip you have planned in September! A mission on the
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser followed by a stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is the perfect way to celebrate such a momentous occasion! You are going to have an action-packed first couple of days navigating the Halcyon Starcruiser and reaching far into the depths of the universe. This experience is completely immersive and unlike any other Walt Disney World has ever produced. Once you disembark from your journey, you get to relax by the pool or beachside at the Polynesian Resort, which is only a monorail ride from Main Street, U.S.A.
With your flight arriving in the morning,
Disney Springs is the perfect option to start your Walt Disney World stay! Gideon's Bakehouse is my absolute favorite location at Disney Springs and offers one of the most unique treats around. Their nearly half-pound cookies are the real deal and are a must every time we visit.
Traveling from Disney Springs to the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser yields you a couple of options to get you there. The easiest way is to plan a ride share service that will pick you up from Disney Springs and take you to the front of the Starcruiser. You'll have the freedom to plan the pick-up at your discretion and head over there once you have secured your cookies from Gideon's. There is no bus transportation currently that takes you from Disney Springs to the hotel.
Being that you are staying at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort after your mission on the Starcruiser, I suggest taking a bus from Disney Springs to the Polynesian Village Resort. Once there, stop by the front desk to speak to a friendly Cast Member for assistance. They may be able to set up transportation for you. If they are unable to assist, you can always take a rideshare service from here to the Starcruiser. Now, one thing for certain is that once your Star Wars journey has come to an end, you will be able to set up transportation from the Starcruiser to the Polynesian Village Resort. According to the Walt Disney World website,
transportation to your Disney Resorts Hotel is included in the cost of your stay. Make sure to set this up before your departure day!
