Welcome Back, Barbara!
This is a great question.
Guests who drive to the Disneyland Resort are welcome to
park in the Toy Story Parking Lot, the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, as well as the Pixar Pals Parking Structure. Transportation from these areas to the theme parks varies a bit, with the Toy Story Parking Lot using buses and the two parking structures using parking lot trams. Both are equipped to carry passengers in wheelchairs and ECVs, however, they can only hold two or three chairs respectively. I don't doubt that you and your husband could both get on the same bus or tram, but your group might have to allow a single rider to go ahead in front of you so that you can both get on the same bus.
Pro tip:
The Parking Structures also have what they call a Mickey Van, which is a mini-bus outfitted to hold two or three wheelchairs or ECVs. The best part about these cute baby buses is that they have a handful of seats so the rest of your crew can also ride in style with you. Mickey Vans can be found just beyond the tram loading station on the ground floor of the parking structure, past the security checkpoint.
