My husband and I are DVC owners and AP holders. We are taking relatives to WDW that are neither. Will my hubby and I receive both AP and regular magic bands and our guests just regular bands? Also, will they arrive together or not? Thanks so much!

    Hi Susan,

One of my favorite aspects of Disney Vacation Club membership is being able to take relatives with us to share the magic of Walt Disney World. My family has traveled with grandparents many times.

Your thoughts are correct. You and your husband should both be eligible to receive Annual Passholder MagicBands as well as MagicBands for your upcoming stay at a Walt Disney World resort. You guests should be eligible to receive MagicBands for your upcoming stay at a Walt Disney World resort. My family visited this past April and took my mother with us. My husband, daughter and I all had Annual Passholder MagicBands as well as MagicBands for this stay. Since my mother did not have an Annual Pass, she received a MagicBand for the stay. The MagicBands for the stay with my mother all arrived in one package at my mailing address that I have associated with My Disney Experience. Since my mother does not live with us, I just brought her MagicBand with her to give to her when we met at Walt Disney World.

To customize these MagicBands, you need to go to the My Disney Experience website. Be sure that you have linked your resort reservation, and that you have created personas for each of your guests within your account. On the front page when you log in, you should see a link for personalizing your MagicBands, which will take you to an area to personalize all of the MagicBands for which you are eligible. Be sure that you also have your Annual Passes linked in My Disney Experience so that you you are eligible to receive MagicBands for them.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Susan. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
