Christmas on Main Street

    My husband and I are DVC members, and we're taking 2 family members (non-DVC) to Very Merry Christmas Party. Is it okay to purchase the discounted DVC tickets for them, or do I need to buy them separate tickets?

    Thanks for visiting planDisney with your questions about tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, it’s bound to get you into the holiday spirit. Seeing the iconic Christmas tree the moment you step into Magic Kingdom park will take your breath away! I love seeing all of the holiday decorations, hearing Christmas music and seeing Characters dressed in their holiday best for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

    I chatted with Disney Vacation Club Member Services today and they confirmed that eligible DVC Members can purchase up to 8 tickets with the DVC discount. The tickets can be purchased online (make sure you are logged in to your My Disney Experience account in order to see the discount) or by phoning Member Services directly. 

    I’m looking forward to this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, there’s something so special about walking through Magic Kingdom munching on complimentary cookies and sipping complimentary festive drinks. I always make sure to catch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade, the tin soldiers are my favorite! There are two parade times nightly: 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM. If you are not travelling with little ones, I highly recommend viewing the later parade as the crowds are much lighter. 

    I can’t forget to mention Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show; you can’t miss Cinderella Castle lit up with Yuletide projections, incredible fireworks and your favorite Yuletide carols playing in the background.
