    My husband and I are both DVC members. Since DVC is no longer using "Blue Card" identification, can I set him up with a MDE app using my email and password so he can use his DVC discounts as well?

    Hey there, Sharon! Welcome back to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your Disney Vacation Club question. I just love chatting with a fellow Member!

    Since your new digital DVC Membership Cards are the keys to unlocking your DVC perks and discounts, I'm happy to hear that you and your husband are in the process of downloading them from your My Disney Experience apps into your smartphones' digital wallets. I am also the sole vacation planner in our family, Sharon, so, I had to help my wife download her Card, and I'm thrilled to pass on what I learned so that both you and your husband can take full advantage of your Membership magic!

    For your husband to get his own DVC Membership Card, he will need his own DVC online account with his own log-in and password. To get him a DVC account, he will need to enter his Club ID number and activation code that were provided with your original Membership documents on the DVC website. Don't have easy access to the number or code? Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" We didn't either! You can simply call DVC Member Services or use the chat feature on the website to get his unique Club ID number and activation code. Then, using that information, he can set up his DVC log-in and password on the DVC website and log in for the first time in forever!

    Your husband's new DVC log-in information will also be used to create his own My Disney Experience account. For my wife, both accounts automatically linked when she logged in to her DVC account and then her My Disney Experience account, but if his accounts are not already linked, have him link his DVC Membership under "Memberships & Passes" on his My Disney Experience profile. Once he has that all linked and set up, just have him download the My Disney Experience app, log in, and download his new Card via the Disney MagicMobile Pass. Now, you should have access to double the Membership magic!
