My husband and I are DVC members. We bought 4 Not So Scary tickets with the DVC discount, 2 for us, DVC members, and 2 for my parents who are not DVC members, but are on our resort reservation. Is this a problem? Do we all need to present DVC IDs?

    Hello Kristin,

It’s always so nice to welcome a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member to planDisney, thanks for bringing your question here today! My family loved attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and had a spooktacular time. My daughters were thrilled to dress up in Halloween costumes, go trick-or-treating on the many trick-or-treat trails, see characters in Halloween costumes and enjoy the special parade. I’m looking forward to the next event that lines up with our travel dates.

I’m so glad you’re taking advantage of the Disney Vacation Club Member benefits and that you purchased discounted tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Before every trip, I like to visit the DVC website and make sure I’m up to date on the latest and greatest savings and offers. I spoke with Member Services and they said you won’t have any issue for purchasing tickets for non-DVC Members on your reservation. They recommend that you have your DVC virtual Membership Card ready when you scan in to the party just in case you are asked to show your Member ID.

To download your virtual card, first, make sure your My Disney Experience Mobile app is up to date. Once you are signed in, click on the three-line menu item at the bottom right of your screen and then scroll down to “Set up MagicMobile Entry”. Click “Set Up Your Pass” and you will be prompted to customize your card. Once you’re happy with the design, tap “Add to Wallet”, confirm the addition and you’re ready to go!

To use your Card, open your smartphone’s digital wallet and tap on your Disney MagicMobile Pass, which serves as your Membership Card. Click the “i” above your Card to view your name, Disney affiliations, and a QR code.

Kristin, I hope this information helps you get organized for the night you’ll attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I highly recommend catching the second viewing of Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade - the crowds are much lighter so it is easier to secure a great viewing spot. Happy haunting,
    Candace
