Hi there, Maryellen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation planned! My family sailed from New York last year and had the best time! It was so fun being able to enjoy the Disney Magic, Castaway Cay AND Walt Disney World Resort in one trip! Plus, it was extra special for us to sail from New York City as it my boys’ first time to the city and they loved sailing past the Statue of Liberty.
On the day that you visit
Walt Disney World Resort, you will need to be back on the transportation back to Port Canaveral to board the ship at a specified time, which is usually between 9:00PM and 10:00PM. If you are interested in reserving any specialty dining for your time at the theme parks you will just need to be mindful of the return time. Advanced dining reservations can be made 180 days prior, so at that point you can look into dining reservations for the day you are there! Since the schedule for
Fantasmic Dining Packages is not yet available for the day you are looking at so keep an eye out for future dates to be opened up!
With your one-day Park Hopper ticket, you will be able to visit as many of the theme parks that you can fit into your time! When my family visited last year, we attempted to do all four but only made it to three before we had to make our way back to the ship with our littles! We sure had fun trying to hit all four, though…one day we will!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea! Please come back with any additional planning questions you may have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
