My husband will be dropping me off at park entrances and then parking the car. Will he have to completely exit the parking lot and re-enter?

Hi there, JoAnn! Welcome to planDisney!

It's a wonderful day, because it's the day before your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's always so much fun to know that when you wake up, you'll be on your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Your husband should be able to park in the theme park lot after dropping you off, but the process may be slightly different at each one. When you arrive at the park, you'll drive through a toll plaza where you'll pay for your day's parking if you're staying offsite, or scan in for complimentary parking if you're a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest. At that time, I'd ask the Cast Member in the booth what the procedure is for dropping someone off and meeting them after parking. They'll be able to guide you to the right spot.

JoAnn, remember that parking for the Magic Kingdom Park is in the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) lot. Your husband will drop you off near the TTC, and then you'll both hop aboard either the monorail or the ferry to get to the Magic Kingdom entrance. At all of the other parks, he'll be able to drop you off just outside the main entrances.

JoAnn, you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during an amazing celebration! The theme parks are absolutely glowing for the 50th Anniversary. I was there a few weeks ago, and if it's possible for Walt Disney World to be even more magical than usual, it certainly feels that way!

I hope you and your husband have a pixie-dusted adventure, JoAnn. Thank you so much for coming to see us, and please be sure to stop by again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
