Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jenn!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us this magical question! After visiting the parks so many times, I can honestly say I could not go without the
My Disney Experience mobile app. While I love to plan ahead, I also love having the ability to make last-minute dining reservations, knowing the wait times for all my favourite attractions at all times, and mobile-ordering a snack or two! And did I mention you can
skip the lines at some of your favourite stores while buying your souvenirs?
Now, let's talk about how you and your husband can be linked together so that he can join in on the planning fun! I love that you have already sent him an invite to join your Family & Friends List, which is the most important step. As for your plans, there might be a few reasons why they are not showing up. First, make sure that your husband does not have two profiles. I know when I started making plans with my family, there was some confusion because of accidental duplicate accounts. Second, when clicking on a reservation on your profile, you should see the profiles linked to it. If your husband is not connected to them already, you should be able to update your party on the app. If you are experiencing issues doing so, you can also
contact a Cast Member via chat, email or phone, and they will be happy to link your husband to all your reservations! Third, if you have some reservations that he is not linked to, you may want to make sure your plans are public! In your
Family & Friends List, click on "Update" on your husband's profile and select "All My Plans." That way, your husband should be able to see all your reservations. Lastly, I would recommend logging into his account on a desktop. I have noticed that sometimes, some of my reservations do not appear on the My Disney Experience mobile app, but they will on my desktop. This might help avoid some confusion!
Once your reservations are linked, that is when the fun truly starts! So let's talk about one of my favourite offerings that you will be able to experience on your next visit: the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Indeed, you will be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort just in time for the closing month of the festival, and with its beautiful sights, unique treats and fun activities, it is an experience you will not want to miss! I loved participating in Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt, and I always love visiting Bambi's Butterfly House. However, if you are a big foodie like me, you must try the Corn on the Cob at Flavor Full Kitchen. It is one of my all-time favourite snacks at EPCOT and is perfect for the summertime!
I hope this was helpful, Jenn, and that you and your husband will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please feel free to reach out. We will always be(e) happy to help!
Have a magical dai-sy,
Ariane
