My husband and I are going to be doing a WDW parks and disney cruise vacation next year. We plan on buying a 5 day pass, but want to do 4 days before the cruise, and 1 day after. Will that be problematic? We are getting our tickets from Tickets at Work. :)

    Hi Laryssa,

Congratulations on your upcoming "Land and Sea" vacation!  I have experienced a similar vacation for my 40th birthday as the one you have planned.  My family visited Walt Disney World for 1 day followed by a 4 day adventure aboard the Disney Cruise Line and ended with another 4 days at Walt Disney World.  Since we had Magic Your Way tickets we were able to use one set of 5 day theme park tickets for our trip.  Magic Your Way tickets do not expire until 14 days from the first time you use them.  You should have no problem visiting the theme parks before and after your Disney Cruise unless you are taking a very long cruise!

Laryssa you mention that you are purchasing your tickets from Tickets At Work which is a corporate discounted ticket supplier.  I have not purchased tickets through this organization, however as long as you are indeed purchasing Magic Your Way tickets and not receiving special media/comp tickets which have their own set of rules, the expiration of 14 days from first usage will still apply to you.  I am always looking for the best pricing for my next vacation and have purchased tickets through the Walt Disney World online ticket store, as part of a vacation package, and also from authorized ticket sellers such as Undercover Tourist.  My opinion is if I can save a few dollars on tickets then I will have more money in my vacation budget with which to play!

I hope your vacation is one filled with fun memories and an abundance of Pixie Dust!  If you have any further Walt Disney World or Disney Cruise Line vacation planning questions please just let us know.  We are always happy to help you plan your next adventure.

    Blessings,
    Brenda ºOº

I fell in love with Walt Disney World on my very first visit, which took place during my honeymoon. Since then we have added 4 "mouseketeers" to our family and have come to appreciate what a great value a Walt Disney World vacation can be on a budget. As a Physical Therapist and a mom of a large family, I would love to help you plan your next magical trip! Learn More About Brenda
