    My husband & I are doing the W& D HM (our 1st!) We spent our Honeymoon at DW 17 years ago! My ? has to do with proof of time. At sign up, it says POT for sub 2:45. We estimated 2:50, based on training. Recent email sounds like it is mandatory,

    Hi Beverly!

    Good for you guys!  My husband and I got engaged at Disney World, and we love taking trips there together.  In fact, the Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend has been our favorite "couples" trip ever!  We can't do it together, anymore, because our boys both play in a soccer tournament that same weekend every year now.  (I still go!  He gets "soccer dad" duties!!)  Be sure to check out the post about "Adults Only" trips that I wrote for the runDisney Blog.

    For your question, you should be fine.  If someone doesn't submit a proof of time, then they will most likely just be put in the last corral.  It's not a big deal.  I have run in all of the corrals, and actually prefer the laid-back pace and attitude of runners towards the back!  They are tons of fun!

    If you want to submit a proof of time before the race, here is how you can do it:

    Please email your updated proof of time (include the race you registered for, your official race time, along with the year and name of the race) to disneysports@trackshack.com by September 1, 2013. After September 1, all proof of time updates must be made during the Expo at the Runner Relations booth.
