My husband doesn't fly. Are there any transportation options from the Amtrak station? We'll be staying at a Disney World resort hotel. Thanks!

    Hi Abina,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The way I see it, no matter how you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you're sure to enjoy your most magical stay.

On most of our trips to Walt Disney World, we fly to Orlando International Airport and ride in the comfort and convenience of the complimentary Disney's Magical Express. On other occasions, we drive. On one of our trips, we enjoyed taking the Amtrak train. We took the Amtrak service into the Orlando Station, though I think you'll find that Kissimmee Station is an option as well. While there would not be complimentary transportation choices similar to Disney's Magical Express to take you from the train station to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you could consider ride sharing options such as Lyft or even a taxi. If you are interested in renting a car, I think a rental car company such as Enterprise could be an option if you arrange for them to pick you up and bring you to their rental location to get your rental vehicle.

Abina, if you have questions as you get into planning your Walt Disney World stay, please do come back and ask away here at Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
