My husband & I are going to DL and DCA the second weekend in Nov. I was wondering when the holiday decorations are usually up? Any 'must see' holiday things? I've heard the Haunted Mansion is decorated?? This is our first visit so we're very excited.

    Hi there Glory,

What a fantastic time to visit!  Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort will officially begin the weekend of November 16th but the beautiful lights and sparkling decorations will begin gracing the parks in the early days of the month!

Haunted Mansion Holiday featuring Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King has been featured since Halloween, so you will be able to experience this attraction even if your dates fall before the actual holiday season officially begins!

If you are around during that weekend, be sure to catch the Christmas Fantasy parade which makes its way through Disneyland Park, as well as the spectacular Believe.. in Holiday Wishes fireworks display that lights up the skies over Sleeping Beauty's dazzling Winter Castle nightly!  Back in the Big Thunder Ranch, you'll find games, crafts, and live music at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree which is fun for all ages! Santa's even there to pose for pictures and here about those Christmas lists!

Over at California Adventure, Phineas and Ferb will be rocking out in a holiday-themed show and you can visit with an old fashioned department store Santa at Elias and Co. on Buena Vista Street!  Almost forgot... be sure to check out Cars Land and Route 66 for the most awesome automotive inspired decorations!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
