    Hello! My husband and I are going to Disney World in September 2019. We are on the dining plan and we have dinner reservations at Jiko one evening. We have friends joining us. Can we use our dining plan credits and our friends pay another way?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    There is so much to be excited about in your question!  Firstly, your vacation is just around the corner now - your countdown is well and truly on!  Also, you will be visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort for your dinner at Jiko - The Cooking Place.  Take some extra time to explore this beautiful resort - and you never know, you may see a giraffe strolling past.  The Disney Dining Plan offers so much convenience and value across the whole of the Walt Disney World Resort - the theme parks, the Disney Resort hotels and select restaurants at Disney Springs.  When you speak with your server at the table that they will ask if you have any Disney dining plans.  At that time you can then explain that your family will be using your dining plan, and your friends will be paying by another method.  It's as simple as that!  If you order any items that are not included in the Disney Dining Plans these will be paid for separately, with credit card, cash or as a room charge, and you can also ask for two dining receipts, one for each of your parties, if you wish.  

    If you would like to see which restaurants will accept the Disney Dining Plans, and also how many entitlements they require, have a scroll through this list.  Click on any location, and then click on 'Some Dining Plans Accepted' for full details.  Jiko - The Cooking Place requires two Table-Service entitlements per person.
