Hello, Diane! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so exciting to know that you'll be celebrating your little one's first birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort! So many lifelong memories will be made on this magical trip.
When making
advanced dining reservations, you will want to include your daughter in your total Guest count. This will ensure that you are seated at a table that will accommodate everyone, including a highchair. Your daughter is free to share off your plates or you can choose to purchase her own kids meal if you wish. When I visited with my daughter when she was just over 1 year old, we found that about half the time it worked out best to order her own meal. I suggest making dining reservations as soon as you are able online, on the
My Disney Experience app, or by calling (407) 939-1947.
If you haven't already done so, you might consider purchasing
Memory Maker for your upcoming trip. You will definitely want access to all the adorable photos your family will have taken during this very special visit. Memory Maker provides digital downloads of attraction photos, character greeting photos, and photos taken at iconic places throughout the Resort by PhotoPass photographers. There is a discount if you purchase Memory Maker in advance of your trip, so you might want to add it now.
I hope you have a magnificent visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
