My husband and I are going to be at Disney world during the time that MNSSHP will be going on. We would like to stay at Magic Kingdom til closing time, but do not wish to attend the party. Will we have to pay for the event ticket in order to stay?

    Hi Ali,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your excellent question.

On days Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place, Magic Kingdom Park closes to its regular day Guests at 7:00 p.m. Therefore, it is not possible to spend the entire day at Magic Kingdom Park without purchasing party tickets. Specifically, if your goal is to stay at this theme park until closing time, you would then need to purchase regular admission to the park and party tickets too.

Since you are not interested in attending the Halloween themed party, I recommend visiting Magic Kingdom Park on a day when the event is not happening. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place the following dates:

    August 25 and 29, 2017
    September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29, 2017
    October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 31, 2017
