My husband and I are going to Disney World and have booked the medium dining plan. We made reservations for the luau dinner show, dinner at Canada, and dinner at France. Any thoughts as to which of these 3 meals would be the cheapest to pay cash for ?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa!

My husband and I are real foodies and dining is always the highlight of our trips to Walt Disney World Resort. I am always checking menus to see what's new, and I'm constantly making lists of restaurants I want to try on my next vacation. Trying new things is made even easier with the Disney Dining Plan, but just like you we like to double up our Table-Service credits to enjoy signature restaurants which also means we pay for some meals out of pocket as well, so I've got some suggestions for which experiences would be the best use of your Dining Plan credits.

Of the dining locations you mentioned, I think it would be best to use your Table-Service credits on Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show as well as at Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot. There are two restaurants in the France Pavilion, Monsieur Paul and Chefs de France, and either one of those would be a great choice on a day where you're going to be paying with a method other than the Dining Plan. Family-style meals, like the Dinner Show you're going to be enjoying, are one of the best ways to use your Table-Service credits! The entrées at Le Cellier tend to have a slightly higher price point than the entrées at either of the restaurants in the France Pavilion, so if it were me making this decision I would choose to use those credits to pay for a meal where the bill will be slightly higher.

I hope this answers your question, Lisa, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
