my husband and i are going to disney in 2 weeks. we celebrate our 20th anniversary in a month so we are going out without kids for a night. do you have any suggestions?

    Hello Gail,

Congratulations to you and your husband on celebrating such a momentous occasion.  There are many wonderful ways to enjoy a romantic evening at Walt Disney World, but I will give you just a few of our favorites.

I love Disney dining and there are a couple of romantic places we love to experience without the kids. California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort offer delicious menu choices and spectacular firework views of Wishes, when you time your dining reservation just right.  The World Showcase at Epcot is another one of our favorite dining areas (yes, all of it) and for a relaxing intimate experience, I'd suggest the Epcot After Hours Wind Down. Following the fireworks, you are able to stick around the park after-hours in one of the exclusive lounges.  Here, you can relax and unwind as you sip and dine on some cultural favorites.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Gail!  From all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, congratulations and happy anniversary!  Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
