Hi, My husband and I are going to Disney 10/17-10/24 and I noticed its during the Food and Wine Festival. Will the parks be crazy busy? I'm sure Epcot will be a little busier, but will the other parks as well? Thanks :)

    Hi Renee!

I think you are going during a great time.  October is one of my favorites times to visit Walt Disney World.  The weather is generally cooler than the summer, though it can still be hot on some days.  Also, the crowds are significantly less than at other times of the year, especially summer.  I wouldn't worry about the crowds, with the exception of Epcot on the weekends.  Epcot on the weekends will have a lot of "locals" who will be there primarily for the Food and Wine Festival.

By the way, the Food and Wine Festival is fabulous.  I always have a great time there, and I don't really drink; I just love to eat!  Another great event going on in October is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  I definitely recommend doing that; it's my favorite hard ticketed event of the year!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
