My husband and I are going to Disney in June to celebrate our anniv. (went on our honeymoon there). We are staying at the Pop Century Resort and were wondering if there is a better area of the hotel to stay that we could request?

    Hi Lisa,

I wish you an early "Happy Anniversary" greeting.  You have certainly picked the right place to celebrate this occasion....Romance, Magic, of course Pixie Dust sprinkled, with a cherry on top!  You can request a "preferred" room at Disney's Pop Century Resort, which are the rooms located closer to the main building, food court, arcade, lobby, bus transportation, pool, gift shops, etc...  Basically, it is a convenience issue (I believe this is mostly used by guests with disabilities or families with little ones in tow and do not want to walk too far to get to these specific locations).  I have stayed in both the "preferred" and "basic" locations and yes! it is definitely convenient to be closer to the main sections of the resort, but there is an extra charge per room, per night for the preferred location.  You need to decide the importance of this for you, or if you would just as well enjoy a nice stroll during the day or night, if it is just the two of you!?!?  If you would like to follow up with more questions I suggest that you call Guest Information at (407) 939-6244 and a cast member will be happy to help you further.

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
