Hi Ashlee,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My husband and I honeymooned at the Walt Disney World Resort almost 20 years ago. It was the perfect beginning to our life together. Make sure to note your honeymoon on your resort reservation!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort was quite lovely the last time we stayed there. Be aware that there are continuing refurbishments going on at this resort. If you have not done so already, I suggest that you check out a video or two on YouTube - there are several that depict the construction.
Since construction can change every day, I am sending suggestions now but advise you to check with a cast member at the resort as soon as you arrive. A cast member on site at that time can provide the best advice given the current circumstances! I normally recommend a room in Jamaica Building 45 or Aruba Building 51. Proximity to the food area makes it much easier for us to grab a quick bite to eat and refill our resort refillable mugs in the evening. With the construction, there are
Island Markets with quick food and beverage options in Aruba, Jamaica and Martinique.
If you make a request, be sure to do online check-in and have the alerts delivered to your mobile phone. When we receive that mobile alert that our room is ready, I always check the location on a resort map. If the assigned room is not in our preferred location, I call the number listed in the text message and speak with a cast member to see if we can get a different room.
Ashlee, may your honeymoon be filled with lots of love and laughter!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
