Hi my Husband an I will be at Disney for a family vacation staying on the grounds the week of Christmas. December 27th is actually our 16th anniversary I was wondering what might there be to do for the occasion to slip away from the family for the evening?

    Hi Amy!

    This is a great question!

You should consider a romantic evening for two at Walt Disney World.  Such restaurants include:
    • Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian
    • California Grill in the Contemporary
    • Bistro de Paris in the France Pavilion in Epcot
    • Citricos in the Grand Floridian
    • Narcoossee's in the Grand Floridian
    • Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge

Victoria and Albert's is a fabulous experience if you have the time for the meal and the budget; the chef's table is especially fun in my opinion.

Dinner at the California Grill and Narcoossee's are also wonderful experiences, especially if you are there during the Magic Kingdom fireworks.  They provide a unique and different perspective on the fireworks show.

Besides dinner, you might consider a stroll along the beach at the Polynesian Resort.  Again, try to time this during the Wishes fireworks show.  You could also sign up for a private fireworks cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
