My husband and I are going on a Disney cruise in January. It’s our first time ever doing a cruise so we are pretty excited about it. We do not drink alcohol but my husband likes to have a non alcoholic bud. Can we bring some on the cruise? Thanks 😊

    Bonjour Monique,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I’m super excited for your first Disney Cruise Line vacation this January, too! I totally understand why you’d want to bring your husband’s favourite beverage onboard – after all, vacation is to indulge and enjoy your favourite things, right? I’m happy to say that you can absolutely bring non-alcoholic beverages, including non-alcoholic beer, onboard with you. And if your husband is a chicken wing fan (and, really, who isn’t?), he’ll be able to pair his beverage of choice with chicken wings delivered fresh from Room Service, which is complimentary and available 24 hours a day!

That said, you need to make sure that any drinks (alcoholic or not) are still factory sealed and in your carry-on bag and not in your checked luggage. If you put them into your checked luggage, unfortunately, they’ll likely be removed and discarded before your luggage is delivered to your stateroom. Also, please remember that your carry-on bag can be no larger than 22’ x 14” x 9” in order to fit in the security scanners that they use at the port.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect vacation this January for you and your husband! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
