Hi, Alexis!
Best wishes for the most magical honeymoon, Alexis!
My husband and I are frequent cruisers, and we often book our flight home from a FL-based cruise later on departure day. While we know that we'll be off the ship ultra-early, we like to linger a little longer before heading back home.
On those occasions, we often take a cab to Downtown Disney, especially if we don't have active Walt Disney World Annual Passes. There, we can shop and dine in a leisurely fashion, and can now even enjoy a movie or bowling, should time allow us to do so. We also have spent a day in Epcot without the kids, especially enjoying the food and beverage options of The World Showcase. (While our kids love to travel throughout this area of WDW, it's an entirely different experience if you can spend some time there with just the adults!)
Of course, you could book a spa treatment at one of WDW's luxurious spas, one of which (
Mandara Spa) is located in the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. A spa treatment here could easily be followed up by enjoying a tour of the resorts, restaurants and shops in the BoardWalk Area; you can even slip into Epcot, via the International Gateway, with just a few minutes' walk!
Send more questions as you think of them, Alexis; I'd love to help you plan a perfect day in WDW for the new couple!
