    My Husband and I are going to Disney to celebrate my 30th Birthday this December (YAY!!) and I was wondering if and where there will be any of the Disney Villains. We are both Huge fans of Maleficent and Cpt. Hook and wanted to meet them. Any suggestions?

    How wonderful that you'll be celebrating your 30th Birthday at Walt Disney World!

    Your best opportunity to meet Captain Hook, and an experience I highly recommend, is during the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. The experience takes place in the evenings, Thursday through Tuesday, and begins at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Here, you'll meet with Captain Hook and Mr Smee for a great photo opportunity! Then, head out on the Seven Seas Lagoon for some swashbuckling fun; Disney trivia, prizes and more! Cap it all off with a viewing of the Wishes fireworks like you've never seen before and even catch the Electric Water Pageant. I can't say enough about this fantastic evening!     Now Maleficent, unfortunately, is much more elusive. Rarely seen around the parks for regular Meet & Greets, she mainly appears at special 'Villains' events. If you happen to plan a visit to Walt Disney World in the near future, consider the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler Weekend. Even if you're not a runner, the Disney Villains Hollywood Bash occurs during this event weekend! This is the only place I've had the opportunity to ever 'meet' and be photographed with the ever-so-evil Maleficent. It's a fantastic party that begins in the late evening and runs until the early morning hours! Meet & Greet opportunities with many, rarely seen Disney Villains occur all around the park throughout the evening.

    Though not up close, you can also see Maleficent during the Fantasmic! show at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
