Hi there!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by to ask us a question about
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. It’s so wonderful that your husband wants to help send your son and daughter-in-law on a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth!
It sounds like your husband has heard about the
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket offer that can currently be purchased on base. These specially-priced tickets are a wonderful way for military families to enjoy magical time in the theme parks together! The offer is available to members of the U.S. military with valid ID, including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Your husband may purchase these tickets if he is a 100% permanent and total service-connected disabled veteran.
A military member with applicable identification (either the military member or a military spouse with a valid ID card that verifies their status) must accompany each group to activate the
theme park tickets upon first use. So, you or your husband would need to be present with your son and his wife at the Disneyland Resort the first time the tickets are used. However, after that first theme park entry, they may enter the parks without you on all subsequent days the tickets are used.
I deeply appreciate your husband’s service to our nation! I hope this information helps and that your family is able to enjoy some pixie-dusted theme park time soon. Please don’t hesitate to
write back and ask any other questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
