My husband is a 100% disabled veteran with an ID card. Some sites say he is eligible for the Military Cruise Discount but on the Disney cruise website it just refers to active and retired. Can you confirm?

Ahoy there, pal! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sailing by for clarification.

Disney Cruise Line offers special military rates to retired and active US military personnel and spouses. Veterans who are100% Permanently Disabled with a military identification indicating DAVPRM status are eligible for military rates. Please note that U.S. military veterans with a DD214 Form are not eligible. Valid identification will need to be shown at the time of check-in at the cruise terminal.

Currently, there are select sailings from many ports that have this special rate. The list continues to be updated, so check back if one of these does not work with your schedule. The offer is limited to 50 staterooms per category per sailing and is valid for new bookings only.

I hope this helps you set a course for booking a vacation on Disney Cruise Line. If you have any other questions, sail back to visit us at planDisney.

    Adventure is out there!
