My husband is 100% disabled vet. Are there any discounts offered to us at this time?

    Hiya Lee,

Welcome to planDisney! First, let me begin by thanking you and your husband for your service to this country. As the daughter of two Air Force veterans, I know firsthand some of the sacrifices you have both made, and I am so grateful for all that you do. I am honored to help be a small part of the magic of planning a vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Currently, Lee, there are two special ticket offers available for US Military Service Members: Military Salute Tickets and Magic Your Way Tickets. As a veteran with 100% disability status, your husband is likely eligible for both of them. The current eligibility criteria for the Military Salute tickets is that your husband be an active duty or retired US military service member from the National Guard, US Coast Guard, US Space Force, Reservists, Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, Commissioned Corp of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and veterans who have 100% disability status. Full detailed criteria for Magic Your Way tickets can be found on the Shades of Green website. Tickets can be purchased at the closest participating military installation's ticket office, through Shades of Green, or at a ticket window at Walt Disney World, and you can buy up to six tickets to be used by friends and family. One of those tickets must be used by either your husband or yourself as his spouse, Lee, but the remaining tickets can be shared among you all as you wish. You are also eligible for discounted stays at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels during select dates, so that is just another great way to save on your vacation.

I hope this was helpful, Lee. Before I let you go, I also wanted to share a little about Shades of Green. Shades of Green is an AFRC resort near the Magic Kingdom Resorts, and they are home to the largest Standard Rooms at Walt Disney World Resort. As a Guest of Shades of Green, you also get to take advantage of perks such as Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours (available on select dates), just as you would if you were staying at a deluxe Walt Disney World Resort Hotel! You also get complimentary bus transportation to and from the theme parks and Disney Springs! If you need anything else as you continue planning, please don't hesitate to come back and see us. As you narrow down dates to visit, we can chat about activities to bring more magic, the best places to dine, and even how to get the most out of your theme park day. You always have a friend in us here at planDisney.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
