Hi! My husband is a 100% disabled military veteran. He is unable to visit the parks but I was able to purchase the salute tickets at a local base as I have my own military ID. MY military ID is all that is needed when my kids and I visit, correct?

Hey there, hi there, Danielle! We are so glad you've stopped by planDisney with your military ticket question. Welcome!

I am thrilled that you were able to take advantage of the Disney Military Promotional Tickets and are planning a visit soon. Our family loves being able to enjoy time in the parks with this ticket offer. I'm happy to report that you are correct. These tickets will need either the military member or spouse to provide their military ID when using the tickets for the first time. This means you will be able to use your military ID at the turnstile on your first day. You will not have to provide your ID for proof after this.

Your visit will coincide with the first week of the Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure Park. This is always a must-do for our family. We love going over the Foodie Guide before our visit and everyone picking out an item or two they are most excited to try. We grab a Sip & Savor Pass and spend the afternoon snacking and checking out the entertainment.

Danielle, thanks so much for stopping by! We are here if you have any other planning questions!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
