Hi Brandi!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite attractions at
Disneyland Park and I'm delighted to let you know that your husband will certainly be able to enjoy his time with the 999 happy haunts that reside there!
The Haunted Mansion Doom Buggies do not load at a very fast pace so you may find your husband is still able to load in the regular queue at his own pace. If he is in a wheelchair and will transfer for his ride through the graveyard or he is not confident in the pace of loading, they are certainly able to stop for loading purposes! As you go through the Haunted Mansion queue, you'll first find yourself outside winding through Master Gracey's lawn just prior to entering the Gracey Manor. When you enter the main entrance of the manor you'll be directed by a Cast Member enter and load into the dead center of the portrait chamber. Just before entering here, let the frightful Cast Member know that you'll need a bit of extra time loading into the Doom Buggies on the other side. When the portrait chamber clears, your husband and the rest of your party will be led to a separate queue for accessible loading.
It is always a priority at
The Happiest Place on Earth for Guests to be able to enjoy attractions in an environment that is accessible, safe and comfortable. I'm confident your family will feel well accommodated in boarding at Haunted Mansion! Please come back if we can help you plan your trip in any other way.
