Hello Kay!
Welcome to planDisney!
Disability Access Service or DAS is a wonderful service for those who have a disability that makes waiting in an extended queue very difficult. Instead of waiting in a long queue, they can choose on their My Disney Experience app a return time that is equivalent to the posted wait time and return then to enjoy the attraction. The guest can use this experience with up to 5 other guests in their party so they are not alone. While there is an option for pre-registering for DAS it is unfortunately not available as an option for guests outside of the United States and Canada. For you, it can only be done when in the Parks at any Guest Service location. It won't take long and is only done once for your entire visit (up to 30 days).
DAS is only able to be used when a guest with a disability is present with their party as it is linked to their ticket and
My Disney Experience Account. If your husband wishes to rest you should freely enjoy the Parks as everyone else does and then make sure to meet up with him
before you hop to your second Park. The reason I say this is that one of the fine print rules for
Park hopping is that you must check into the first Park where you had made a
Park Reservation before you hop. This means that your husband cannot join you at the second Park as he must first scan his ticket at the Park where he had a reservation in first.
I would speak to Guest Services if you have any issues when you arrive and see if they can assist with any changes to his Theme Park Reservations. It's not guaranteed as Theme Park Reservations are limited and can fill up but anything is possible.
I do hope this helps and that you all enjoy your time in the Parks! Makes sure to enjoy the sights and flavors of the
International Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT. You will find it to be a relaxing and beautiful time!
