My husband and I would like to dine at some of the nicer restaurants, but looking at the kids menus, there is nothing my picky eaters will eat. Am I able to bring items in to the restaurant (i.e, applesauce, PB&J) to supplement whatever we do order?

    Hello Lynnanne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad that you decided to visit!

There are indeed some fabulous choices for dining at Walt Disney World! My own family actually plans our days around our dining picks these days - we have so many favourites for the family as a whole as well as 'adult' favourites.

If you have picky eaters in your family, don't fear! You are certainly not the first and you'll find that the chefs at most Walt Disney World dining locations can be quite accommodating for even the pickiest of eaters! Should you choose to do so, you're certainly welcome to bring in your own snacks for your children to nibble on while you dine, should you find that there is simply nothing suitable on the menu.

Upon perusal of the adult and children's menus, if you find nothing that peaks the interest of your kids, speak with your waiter or waitress. Ask about additional options that may suit your kids' tastes. For example, if there's a chicken dish served with a fancy sauce and risotto, you very well may be able to request the dish without the sauce and with fries or mashed potatoes. Many restaurants also keep items such as PB&J sandwiches on hand, as well as other kid-friendly options. Since chefs also need to accommodate other dietary restrictions and allergies, you may be surprised by the array of additional menu options available to you.

So, good ahead and book that restaurant those nicer restaurants that appeal to you!

I hope this information is helpful to you Lynnanne. Please feel free to write me back any time you wish. I'd love to hear from you again!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
