Hello Crystal. Thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I think you and your husband will be very happy to know that Disney does a wonderful job of accommodating all types of dietary restrictions. Your husband will absolutely be able to enjoy sugar free treats at several locations throughout Walt Disney World. In fact, most sweet shops throughout the Parks carry a few sugar free treat options. Goofy's Candy Company at Downtown Disney offers an array of sugar free treats. I have heard they offer one of the best selections of sugar free goodies so be sure to check them out. Most permanent ice cream locations, like the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor at Magic Kingdom, offer sugar free ice cream flavors like butter pecan and vanilla/chocolate swirl. The Writer's Stop at Disney's Hollywood Studios offers some really great sugar free cookies. This bakery is a hidden gem, you will find something for everyone here. The BoardWalk Bakery has a sugar free cheesecake and the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe at Epcot serves a sugar free chocolate mousse, which I hear is fantastic. The list of sugar free options really goes on and on. If you are dining at any table service location and haven't done so, be sure to call and have a Cast Member make a note on your reservation that your husband is diabetic. The culinary team will whip up some amazing sugar free desserts for him to enjoy at the end of your meal. Have a wonderful vacation and if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
