Hello Leila,
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with such an important question concerning your and your dear husband's plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort in April 2023.
Leila, I'm pleased to share that upon arriving at Walt Disney World Resort, all Guests are more than welcome to stop by any Disney Theme Park
Guest Relations location to make enquiries about registering for the Disability Access Service (DAS).
I can say that in my own experience of having a close family member who lives with a
hidden (or cognitive) disability, having the Disability Access Card (DAS) truly made our visit to the most magical place on earth so much more accessible for our whole group to enjoy our precious family time together.
Leila, it might be helpful for you to understand that generally speaking, the Disability Access Card (DAS) is designed for those Guests who find it difficult to stand, or wait in line within a traditional queue setting for
Attractions and Entertainment offerings at Walt Disney World Resort. And lastly, it's always possible to direct any questions that your dear husband may have about visiting Walt Disney World Resort with his Type 2 Diabetes by emailing
