Hello there Nicola, thanks for coming back to planDisney!
How exciting that you have a trip planned to the "Happiest Place on Earth" later this summer! I'm happy to give you more information for your upcoming trip to ensure a safe trip for you and your husband!
The Disneyland Resort is committed to providing the best possible experience for all Guests, and are
committed to providing a wide range of services and support. I highly encourage you to explore the Disneyland site as well as the
Accessibility Planning Guide & Recommendations and deciding which course of action is best for your family. You'll need to have a virtual chat with a helpful Cast Member to discuss your family's individual situation, and I'm sure that Cast Member will be a great resource for you to ask questions about your upcoming visit.
When you arrive to the Disneyland Resort for your trip in August, you can also stop by Accessibility Services outside of the theme parks to speak to a Cast Member. There are so many great resources and a ton of very useful information on the Disneyland site to read through prior to your conversation and visit.
Nicola, there are also
First Aid services located in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park should you need them during your trip, and nurses are available during normal park hours. You can always ask a nearby Cast Member for help if you're unable to walk to the nearest First Aid center.
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip, Nicola! Please do not hesitate to
come back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
