Hiya Starr,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you are here and that you are wanting to plan a visit to my favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort. First off, thank you for your and your husband's service. As the daughter of veterans, I know how important family vacations are. I cherish every memory I have of vacations we took as a family, especially when my father was preparing for deployment.
As a
planDisney panelist, I can help provide advice, tips, and tricks for your upcoming vacation, but unfortunately, I am not able to help you plan out the details. The responsibility of making reservations for resort hotels, dining, and any extras would all fall on you. With so many little ones, I completely understand how overwhelming planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort can be (I have an infant myself and getting anything done is double the work these days). To ensure that you have the help you need to plan the vacation of your dreams, I recommend you look into working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Vacation Planners have received specialized training from Walt Disney World to find great deals and can plan your vacation for free! This would be perfect for you and help take some of the stress out of the planning. If you are interested in working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, you can find one you want to work with through a quick Google search.
Before I let you go, Starr, I do have one last tip. I recommend spending some time thinking about these three questions before you talk to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner:
1. What is your budget for the entire trip, including resort hotel stay, dining, and Theme Park tickets?
2. Do you want to visit multiple Theme Parks in one day or stick to one a day?
3. What are some of the things your family must do? Maybe it is to have a sit-down meal together with
characters or attend a dessert party while watching fireworks. Whatever is on your wish list can help your planner narrow down the best itinerary for you.
I hope this was helpful, Starr, and gets you started on the next step in your planning journey! Don't forget to mention to your Disney Authorized Vacation Planner that your husband is active duty, there are
special deals and accommodations that may be available that I want to make sure you are able to take advantage of. If there is anything else we can do to help you further, please reach back out.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
